Two floors under a Gayrettepe hotel: mineral pools, a sauna, a steam room, a hammam with a heated belly stone and a café-bar, open from seven.
Go at seven
It opens at seven in the morning. Swim before the city is properly awake, sit in the dry sauna until your shoulders drop, then take a coffee at the café-bar.
Gayrettepe metro is a few minutes away; Levent's towers are one stop on. You arrive at your meeting looking like someone who slept well.
Why this one
Beatus Spa at Ramada Plaza, 2 km away in Osmanbey, has a hammam and a pool with a retractable roof. It publishes no prices.
Melas publishes its prices, adds a café-bar to the pools and sauna, and is open sixteen hours a day, every day.
