New York: a bath circuit in a Tribeca factory, two sauna-and-ice clubs and a penthouse spa

New York has old bathhouses, but they are not on this list. The Russian & Turkish Baths in the East Village sit at 4.2 on Google, the Bathhouse branches at 4.2 and 4.4 and Spa Castle at 4.0, all under our rating line. None of our picks carries the Ritual tag.

What passed is newer: a Roman-style bath circuit in a Tribeca factory, two sauna-and-ice clubs, a hotel spa on a penthouse and two massage spas with a sauna. The six sit at least 1.5 km apart; the Upper West Side has no pick.
