Vienna: a Slavic banya, a sauna-and-ice club, a spa for mothers and the big thermal bath
Vienna once built public baths for people without bathrooms, from the Tröpferlbad to grand municipal baths such as the Jörgerbad and the Amalienbad. Both still offer steam rooms and saunas, but they sit under our rating line, at 4.1 and 3.9.
What passed: a Slavic banya in the old town, a sauna-and-ice club, a spa for pregnant women and new mothers, and Therme Wien in Oberlaa. The four sit at least 1 km apart; Leopoldstadt, Wieden, Mariahilf and Döbling have no pick.
