The verdict
Three private cellar rooms with thousand-litre oak beer tubs; book the four-tub room, the only one with a cedar sauna and an ice-chip cooling box. From €47 a person.
Ask for the sauna room
Of the three rooms, only the largest, for up to eight people with four tubs, has the cedar sauna with hop essence. Beside it is a cooling box of ice chips under an oak pouring bucket.
In every room you tap unlimited light and dark tank beer, with homemade beer bread and a bed of wheat straw by the fireplace. At the beer fountain in reception, a free 0.3 litre of lager waits before and after.
Why this one
Nothing else in Staré Město passed our rules. Beerland scores 7, level with Bernard at the top in Prague: a 4.9 from 12,477 reviews, the sauna and the ice box, a bar and prices on its own site.
The oak tubs add nothing to that score: a beer tub is filled for the treatment and is part of it. The water points come from the sauna and the cold beside it.

You want the sauna but can't get the four-tub room: the other two rooms have tubs and straw but no sauna. Sauny Beer Spa in Smíchov, 2.2 km south-west, pairs its beer rooms with a Finnish sauna.
