A plain, honest neighbourhood hammam in Guéliz, with separate sections for men and women, where the scrub is the whole point.
Go when you're dusty
After a day in the new town, go in off the boulevard. You're handed what you need; black soap first, then the kessa glove.
Afterwards there's mint tea and a bottle of water. Men and women use separate sections.

Orelia and Le Bain Blanc, nearer the medina, score a point higher: Orelia for its café and restaurant, Le Bain Blanc for published prices. Both sit within 2 km of Nº 2.
Semlalia gives the west of the city its own pick, and it's the real thing: a hammam where you're washed, not fussed over.
