The verdict
The big-resort choice in Nusa Dua: hydrotonic pools and hot-and-cold suites at The Mulia, Balinese massage on the menu, yoga in the garden at sunrise.
Sunrise, then the pools
The resort runs sunrise yoga, and the spa opens at eight. Go from the class to the hydrotonic pools, then the hot-and-cold suites.
Book the Balinese massage, 60 or 90 minutes; the longer packages add a herbal poultice.
Why this one
The Apurva, 1.4 km along the coast, has a sauna, a steam room and a plunge pool over the ocean, and far more reviews (4.9 from 805). It doesn't publish spa prices either.
The difference is water: Mulia has hydrotonic pools and hot-and-cold suites, and runs yoga in its garden. Heavenly Spa at the Westin, 2.4 km north, publishes prices but rates 4.6.
