The verdict
A sauna resort in Balinese style by the Hauptbahnhof: 10 saunas, 3 steam baths, indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna garden, textile-free, two hours from €27.50.
Stay four hours
Two hours cost €27.50 on weekdays, four €36.50 and a whole day €51.50; weekends and holidays cost a little more. The saunas run from a candlelit meditation sauna at about 70 degrees to the large Aufguss saunas at about 80.
Between rounds, try the 50 m² indoor pool in the atrium, the heated outdoor pool and three relaxation pools. Then the water beds, the two fireplace rooms and the restaurant.
Why this one
Nothing else in Mitte and Moabit passed our rules. Vabali's 4.5, from 14,775 reviews, earns only 1 rating point, and it still scores 8.
The rest is the place itself: pools, saunas and steam, massage, a garden, a restaurant and prices on its own site.
What guests notice
“lately too many male tourists who have no idea how to act properly when they see a woman naked.”
Maryia Dubrouskaya, Google review
“Much quieter than the big ones, mostly adults only.”
Sebastian D Ros, Google review
